THOSE ABOUT TO DIE - Prisons

I have to say that I enjoyed this task and executed it with much enthusiasm. I was asked to convey a dramatic flair to this set. The project involved not only studying materials and architectural forms but also focusing on lighting and light sources. Given that prisons have very small windows, the challenge was to incorporate strategic wall cuts and openings in order to allow the DOP to illuminate the scene naturally and effectively.
